Samsung unveiled today its newest tablet in the Galaxy lineup of hardware with the announcement of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Series. Two models are launching next month with the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S10+.
To drum up excitement and orders, Samsung is now offering up to $800 in trade-in credit when pre-ordering one of the new tablets. Additionally, when you pre-order, you will be eligible for 50% off a Book Cover Keyboard Slim to fit your new tablet as well as receive three times the Samsung Rewards points you normally would on an order of this price. Both models are set to release on October 3, so you can pre-order now to get your on or around that date.
Samsung’s AI-Ready Tablet
Does it come as a surprise to anyone that this is what the press release leads with? Everyone’s favorite new techy buzzword is making its splash with this new Samsung tablet. The Galaxy Tab S10 Series is “purpose-built for AI”. What this translates to is improved processing power with an 18% increase in CPU power, 28% increase in GPU, and a 15% increase in NPU when compared to the S9 Ultra. Samsung says this will enable faster and more responsive AI features.
You can easily access these new AI features using the new Galaxy AI Key on the compatible book cover keyboard, which you can purchase for 50% when pre-ordering either the S10 Ultra or S10 Plus. This key can be used with Note Assist and Drawing Assist. It can also take a 3D Map View providing a visual overview of your home and connected devices, but Samsung is assuring uses that data is private and safe with them so thank you I guess…?
The Features That Matter
The S10 Ultra’s screen stretches 14.6 inches across while the S10+ reaches 12.4 inches, both utilizing dynamic AMOED 2X displays for clear and crisp images with a wide color range and anti reflection. It has a front-facing 12 MP camera with a rear-facing 13 MP camera, capable of recording in UHD 4K at 30 fps. They each come in your choice of platinum silver or moonstone gray.
Not to mention, the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra also comes with the S Pen included. Perfect for artists or those who prefer handwritten notes, as the weight sensitive strokes are able to simulate manual linework by changing the thickness based on the pressure applied. That on its own goes for $100 and you just get it with the tablet for no extra charge.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra can be pre-ordered for as low as $1,200 with the the S10+ going for as low as $1,000. However, eligible trade–ins can get your a credit of up to $800 to knock off a staggering amount of that initial price. On top of that, the Book Cover Keyboard Slim is 50% for those who pre-order and you’ll be receiving three times the Samsung Rewards points. Not a bad deal. Tablets release on October 3.
