Not processed for fertilizer use like most others. Our crab exo is first steamed and then mechanically extracted. This is an excellent source of protein, calcium and chitin. This is one of the best foods you could have available in the event of a bad molt or a crab needing a boost in chitin. The following sizes are available: Large Pour N’ Go Food Tube , Net Weight: 0.37 Oz (10.5 g). Small Bulk Bag, Net Weight: 7.5 Oz. Medium Bulk Bag, Net Weight: 15 Oz. Large Bulk Bag, Net Weight: 24 Oz. Serving size for all products: ⅛ – ¼ tsp per 3 crabs. If feeding in combination with other foods, you can likely use less. NO PRODUCTS UNDERGO CHEMICAL PROCESSING OR PRESERVATION. **A word of caution for those sensitive to smell–all of our items have undergone minimal processing to ensure the integrity of nutrients. Since our items are not highly processed, they retain their natural scents. For example, fish based foods will smell like fish.** All products can be safely stored for up to two years in a cool, dark location in properly sealed containers. None of our products are meant for human consumption. All foods are potential allergens. All foods have the potential to be cross contaminated by other foods. Although we work on stainless steel equipment, clean and sterilize our tools and tables in between food batches, etc. the risk is always there.
